I am happy to consider all types of writing, rewriting, editing, and proofreading projects. I have strong expertise in the business and legal sectors, and a thorough grasp in particular of the skills necessary to create textbooks, guides, and training manuals. My aim is to write clear, fluent, and readable text without sacrificing detail and content.	I have extensive experience of writing in the following areas: (1) Legal. I have written two leading textbooks on legal English: Legal English (Cavendish, 2004), and the Oxford Handbook of Legal Correspondence (Oxford University Press, 2006). I also write a quarterly newsletter for my own firm, Forum Legal (see website). In addition, I give frequent seminars on legal English, for which I have also created training materials for use in the classroom. (2) Business/cultural. I have created and written/co-written a series of guides aimed at business travellers. These include Business Brief: Britain, Business Brief: Finland, Business Brief: France, and Business Brief: USA (all available from Finnish publisher Multikustannus). (3) Fiction. My short stories have been published or accepted for publication by Outercast, The Sink and Gold Dust magazines. I am currently in the process of writing a satirical novel. I have also worked as a technical writer in the telecommunications sector, and, prior to that, as a lawyer. I am therefore able to produce clear, detailed, and accurate text to tight deadlines.
